A New Direction - 

This year's trip was suppose to be last year's trip.  But instead we chose to go out west again.

This year 2013 - is a different kind of year.  The remaining bit 2012 and the first part of 2013 brought on new challenges and thoughts.  And today Tammy and I have a New Direction.

A job change for myself has allowed me to travel less and be at home more.

Nice!

So hence, A New Direction.

Over the past year and in last year's blog, Tammy and I decided that no more hotel after hotel and lodge after lodge.  So we purchased a truck back in July and just recently a truck camper - a true "camper" by definition where others are called, trailers, motorhomes and etc...

It was a fun experience to decide what kind and how big a camper we could and or want to put on our truck.  Truck Camper Warehouse in New Hampshire carried 7 different brands of Truck Campers.  While on assignment in PA in April, I decided to drive up for the day, and crawl in and out of as many as I could.  I decided that a Northstar Igloo would be a great fit.  Tammy trusted my decision and so it was.

After "sea trials" to New River State Park, we are now prepping for an all out 2 week jaunt to Michigan.  Pictured Rocks, Traverse City and Munising are just a couple stops we will be making.

And of course as time marches on - we will reveal more about the New Direction.
