Well, I guess it's time for Tammy and I to check in with everyone. The morning we left Buckeye Lake, Ohio, we stopped at the Buckeye Lake State Park and came across an interesting site. Out in the lake was a floating cranberry bog - for real! Only one this far south. So we took a short ferry ride over to the bog. As the naturalist described the history of the bog, it kept us pretty spellbound. As the glaciers moved south, these massive ice blocks would push native seeds with it. It just so happens that there are 4 or 5 species of plants that have found a home here in northern Ohio and the only other place that these are found are in the arctic circle!
So some pictures of the bog for the blog - (you like that?)

We spent Saturday night in Howell, Michigan at Taylor's Beach Campground. A most pleasant place with lots of nice folks, mostly made up of semi-permanent campers. Of course Tammy likes to be on the move so after a supper of Chicken Alfredo with some asiago cheese bread - we settled in for the night to ready for moving on the next day.
Sunday Morning came all too early and we were up and out of there by 0830 - Surprisingly the TC is easy to set up and just as easy to pack up and scoot!
So we arrived here at Interlochen State Park in Michigan, the oldest state park in MI. To get here, we traveled to the western side of the state, aka eastern shore of Lake Michigan and went north. We made a stop over in Grand Haven on the shores of Lake Michigan. The fog was so thick, you could barely see the shoreline. And it was cold! Back in the truck and a few miles later, we were soon in the beautiful sunshine. The scenery kept getting better and better with each mile.
We had some rain last night and decided to maybe alter our travel plans some. We are not sure yet. But we have dismounted the TC and set up here for a few nights.
